The word TEAM can mean so many things to any one who cares to define. But its simplest meaning to an entrepreneur is; Together Every One Achieves More- TEAM. The German side in the world cup have proven this words to be true, given the way and manner they combined skills, character and physique to set a new record and make history for themselves, here in Brazil in the just conlcuded FIFA World Cup tournament.
Suffix it to say that the German side has no such (big) names as Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronalddo, Neymar and the other stars which many of the countries featured in their team. A lot of them came depending on their stars, and forgot that it doesn't take a tree to make a forest.
As an entrepreneur, i can only learn from the German wonderful display of team-ship and apply it in achieving organizational goals. As a CEO, if you think you are the only reason your company can succeed and break even, you have to think again. Every member of your company or organization is a part of a chain to the success of the organization and the weakest link can serve a big catastrophe to the entire organization. So also, it takes the entire ring of a chain for it to be strong and firm, thus every member contributes to success.
